| Operation times | Currently 07:00 to 16:00 weekdays This will change to 06:30 to 15:00 when the mornings start getting lighter. [Shortest day June 21, 2025] |
Truck movements [Monday to Friday] | Target is 3 - 4 log trucks per day, occasionally 5. Operating only when the logging crew are onsite - see above. However, the above may change due to the weather. There may be more truck movements after a spell of bad weather to catch up. The condition of Fairhall Road will be monitored to minimise compromising the surface after a weather event. Radio in mailbox 105 to call up truck drivers. Radio in ammo box on container, Hans & Sue Rinsma. [Please keep the radio location "in house". A sign will be placed at the entrance to Fairhall Road advising other people (not on the list below), not to enter Fairhall Road, or call our numbers (below) to get road clearance.] If you are expecting visitors during a weekday, then, ideally call a number below to arrange clearance. | Other movements | Maintenance people will be onsite as required to repair / maintain the logging equipment. |
| Traffic management | Stop / Go will operate during the period when trees are being felled within TWO tree lengths of Fairhall Road. |
| Road reserve trees | TDC will be contacted regarding old man pines. [The roots of some of these trees move in high winds.] |
